REVENUE GENERATION-What is a Chief Revenue Officer….and do you need one?
Wikipedia defines it as “a corporate officer responsible for all revenue generation processes in an organization.” Most companies do not have a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) titled position but every company has a CRO – it is the person responsible for generating the revenues required to fund the business, deliver a profit and grow the company. Aliases today include President, CEO, Owner, COO, VP Sales, etc. Do you need a CRO? Only if you know your business has more upside potential than current performance suggests.
